We’ve committed to the Make It Net Zero programme – aiming to achieve a 50% reduction in emissions by 2030, and net zero by 2050.
A 4.2KW photovoltaic solar system supplies electricity throughout the farm including the lodges, and we’ve planted a hectare of native broadleaved trees to create Little Haddon Wood.
The wood will enable the farm to be self-sufficient in fuel for years to come, whilst also providing a habitat for local wildlife.
Low-energy LED lightbulbs are used throughout the farm, and we encourage guests to keep lighting to a minimum to conserve energy and reduce light pollution.
