  • Guests are advised to bring their own travel cot and baby bath – but if this proves difficult, please let us know and we will see what we can arrange for you.

  • Plug sockets and light switches are available in every room (including in the secret cabin bed).

  • Superfast broadband is available throughout both lodges.

  • Mobile phone signal on site varies depending on provider.

  • Parking is available adjacent to the safari tent.

  • Car charging available via 3 Pin 13 amp socket at 0.50p/KWh.

  • Lodges are spaced 50 metres away from each other.

FAQs

  • Each lodge has 2 king-size ‘zip and link’ double beds, which come with luxury mattresses.

    They can be easily split into 4 single beds, for flexible sleeping arrangements.

    Both lodges also include one ‘secret’ double cabin bed, tucked away in the wall, ideal for children.

    All bedrooms are spacious enough to easily accommodate a travel cot.

    Please bring your own baby equipment with you, or speak with the hosts well in advance of your arrival.

    Babies are free to stay at the lodge at no extra charge.

  • We allow a maximum of 2 well-behaved dogs per lodge.

    The extra cost is £25 per dog – we will provide a bed, blanket, towel, bowls and treats.

    Although the site is fully fenced, there is grazing livestock around the farm, so dogs must be kept under control at all times.

    Dogs must never be left alone in the tent or tied to the deck.

  • Each lodge has a fully-fitted kitchen equipped with an integrated fridge, electric oven, induction hob, kettle, and toaster.

    Crockery, pots and pans, cooking and baking utensils are provided.

    We also have an outdoor BBQ area, fire pit, and BBQ tools.

    An honesty shop Is available on site where you can purchase food essentials, farm-reared meats, snacks, drinks, and BBQ charcoal.

    If you are a large group of over 6 people, and have hired exclusive use of the site, a larger dining area is available in our nearby barn.

  • Both lodges include accessible designer wet rooms, separate flushing toilets, and a hosepipe washing area for dogs.

    High quality fluffy towels are provided, as well as hand wash, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner from The Scottish Soap Company.

    There are no clothes washing facilities on site, but there are local laundry services nearby. Speak to our hosts for directions.

  • Both lodges are powered with solar electricity and have electric heating.

    Heating wise, we also have eco wood burners with unlimited firewood and a supply of eco friendly firelighters.

    We use LED lighting to minimise light pollution, as we are situated in an International Dark Skies Reserve.

    Rechargeable lanterns are provided, as well as electric blankets and hot water bottles for the cooler seasons.

  • Both lodges include a private electric hot tub for 6 people.

    Outdoors, we have a seating area and table, as well as a fire pit/BBQ area with log seating.

    Living areas include a Bluetooth speaker, a smart TV, and several board games and jigsaws.

    Our gathering barn on site also includes a relaxation area, books, magazines and an honesty shop.
